The Fort

A week into this gruelling trek, your team awakes, tired and aching in the chill, grey light of dawn.  As you stretch stiff muscles and shiver in the mist, it quickly becomes apparent that something is drastically wrong.

It seems one of your number has vanished in the night...

Frantically searching, you find signs of a scuffle on the edge of the camp, tracks that lead off along the pathway to a crumbling fort positioned deep in the forest.  The site has been abandoned for years, left to the wind and the rain – until now.

There's a wisp of smoke on the horizon, suggesting the fort has been occupied once more. Even in its dilapidated state, the site will not be easy to attack. Yet you cannot leave your team member behind, so a daring rescue mission must be planned...
