How much do paintballs cost?
One of the Bedlam shopsPaintballs can be purchased upfront or our venues; we offer discounts to groups that buy in advance alternatively prices start from £15 for a large reloader. Unfortunately, players are not allowed to bring their own paintballs onto a Bedlam site, as we require our paintballs to be individually safety-tested before being used on site. How does the day work?
Your Day at BedlamPlayers are welcomed on site at 9am and split into teams. Each group is assigned a team leader who distributes equipment, demonstrates how to use it correctly and conducts a full safety briefing. The team leader will also talk you through the game scenario and offer tips on strategy.
Normally you play through 4 game scenarios before taking a quick breather for lunch and a team photo. There is then time for 3 or 4 more scenarios in the afternoon. The day usually finishes at around 4pm, when the best team is given an award. Our marshals are always on hand throughout the day to ensure your safety and make sure everyone is having a good time.

What are pyrotechnics?
Pyrotechnics help enhance your game"Pyrotechnics" is the name given to the paintball extras which can be purchased to add drama to games. At present, every Bedlam site offers such pyrotechnics as smoke bombs and paintball grenades. Can juniors play paintball at Bedlam?
What are the rules?
The Bedlam RulesBedlam’s fully-trained safety marshals will explain the rules to players on arrival. This includes equipment usage and safety, the difference between the Safety Zones and Game Zones, and the role they play as safety marshal. In addition to this, the marshals will explain the objectives and rules of each game scenario before it begins.

Bedlam is an all-day eventBedlam Paintball is an all-day event, and trust us, at the end of the day you won't want to leave! Normally you play 4 scenarios in the morning, followed by a lunch break to refuel, then a further 3-4 scenarios in the afternoon.

Our onsite shops have everything you needEach player should wear loose, comfortable clothing and sturdy footwear suitable for a woodland environment (see our blog post 'What Should I Wear to Play Paintball' for more info). You should also remember to bring cash or credit/debit cards in order to purchase extra paintballs, pyrotechnics, lunch and any other refreshments you may require.
